Healthy non dairy cornbread for chili

Ingredients

    • 2 cups whole wheat flour
    • 2 cups cornmeal
    • 4 teaspoons baking powder
    • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
    • 1/2 cup honey
    • 1/4 cup  coconut oil
    • 2 cups coconut or soy milk
    • 2 eggs

Directions

  1. Combine the corn meal,flour,baking powder,and salt.
  2. Add the honey,oil,milk and eggs.
  3. Mix just enough to moisten the batter.
  4. Pour the batter into an oiled 9 by 13 inch baking pan.
  5. Bake at 375 degree oven for 20-35 minutes or until golden brown.
